The Noramco Super Deck
	The Noramco Fitness ST-4600 Super Tread comes standard with one of the most innovative and durable deck and belt designs available. Our Super Deck is built with an incredible 13 layers of Ultra Dense Russian Birch Wood and Eucalyptus Hard Wood. The outer layers of the Eucalyptus Hard Wood offers unique physical properties that allow us to use a special sealant and self lubricating Plyethylene Resin Coating System. A coating of resin is applied through an extremely high heat process giving a fished deck coating that has both extended life, an extended lubrication factor and an ultra low friction coefficient similar to a teflon coating. Field tested with users up to 600 lbs., the Noramco Super Deck surpasses the needs of the most rigorous training environments. The Super Deck and our Ultra Sonic Welded, Super Belt are rated for 40,000 mile usage or more. With Noramco's low friction coefficient and long lasting resin coating, replacing the belt every time you rotate the deck is not required! Replacing the belt is a common requirement with other manufacturers.
Over the long haul, the Super Deck lasts longer, lubricates better, helps the belt run cooler, lowers electrical usage costs and supports heavier loads compared to traditional particle board with phenolic decks.
Under the Noramco's Hood Zero Load Motor
The fly wheel is off set from the motor using two belts pulling in opposite directions. Noramco's Key Benefits: There is no stress on the motor from having a single belt pulling against one end of the motor. No bearing heat means that the motor runs cooler and lasts longer. The Noramco Super Tread runs quieter longer because the motor mounts will not loosen, which can produce a rattling noise.
Noramco's Feature Focus Force MultiplierThe Force Multiplier takes the heavy flywheel off the end of the motor, and mounts it between two sets of ball bearings. The flywheel is much heavier than other treadmills. It weighs 52 pounds compared to the maximum of 20 pounds on all other treadmills. The Noramco's flywheel is geared up to spin at a faster rate than the motor. The high speed creates the inertia to move the belt at a smooth and constant speed. No hesitation on floot plant, and no boggin down under heavier loads. Until Noramco invented the Force Multiplier, the only way to increase the flywheel effect was to add weight to the flywheel when the flywheel is off center. Adding weight to the end of the motor, like the other companies do, causes wear and balance problems.
