York Barbell's, "Elite" Competition, Olympic Bars are made from the highest grade steel with an exclusive, hard, satin chrome finish. Competition Bars are made from elevated temperature drawn, high tensile for maximum strength and flexibility. The Olympic bar sleeves are machined-finished with needle bearings for reduced friction and fitted with an additional machined inner sleeve that provides protection and smooth rotation of the outer sleeve. Bars are calibrated and weighed to be accurate to within +00.1% and -0.05% with a straightness tolerance of +/- .020 "TIR". The sleeves are machine-finished to a precise 1.975 inch diameter accommodating for any Olympic plate with a two inch diameter hole. This Olympic bar meets International Weightlifting Federation specifications.

This warranty is a one year warranty on all the parts of this Olympic bar. It applies to use in any commercial facility from a school to a full service health club. Is applies to continuous use twenty four hours a day and seven days a week for one year. If there is any damage as a result of a defect in the workmanship or material of this Olympic bar we will repair or replace it. This warranty does not cover neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear. This warranty becomes void after the Olympic bar is transfered to a new owner. It is only valid within the United States. The York Barbell Company is not liable for any consequential or incidental damages caused by any defects in this Olympic bar. You have all the rights implied by this warranty and by your state's laws.
