This straight bar is great for barbell exercises by itself or with pro style size, weight plates on either side. The threaded ends keep the weights secure on either end. Use it with standard weight plates. It is long enough for a standard bench. This straight bar has knurled handgrips to reduce slipping and provide a better feel. Home Gym WarrantyThis has a lifetime warranty when used in a private residence. You and your family can work out with it for the rest of your lives and we will replace it if there are any defects. This warranty covers the structural integrity of the straight bar, and does not cover bending of the steel. York Barbell has been in business since 1929, which was before the lifetime of most people alive today. Other barbell companies could go out of business during your lifetime, but you know York Barbell will be able to honor this warranty years from now. We can not be held responsible for incidental or consequential damages caused by the use of this straight bar. You have other rights guaranteed to you by your state that are not in this warranty.
